(1) The tonnage of the equipment is small and the processing range is large. The rolling ring forming process is the accumulation of continuous small deformation under local pressure, and the contact area between the workpiece and the mold is small, so the required deformation force is small and the tonnage of the equipment is small.
(2) High material utilization. The cross-sectional shape of the ring rolling is closer to the finished product, and the machining allowance is small.
(3) The product quality is good. The metal fibers of the rolled rings are continuously distributed along the circumferential direction, which is suitable for the force and wear of the parts when they are used. In most cases, the internal structure of the rolled rings is dense, the grains are fine, and the comprehensive mechanical properties are significantly higher than those processed by other methods.
(4) Good working conditions and high productivity. Ring rolling is similar to hydrostatic rolling, basically no shock, vibration, low noise, easy to operate, high degree of mechanization and automation, and the labor intensity of workers is greatly reduced.
(5) Low production cost. Compared with open forging, it has low material consumption, low energy consumption, low comprehensive production cost, and better economic benefits.
(6) The largest ring rolling machine in China is D53K-12000, which can roll 50 tons of rings, and the maximum outer circle can reach 12000mm
