Some users require the production of ring forgings with irregular inner and outer diameters. Due to the special structure of such ring forgings, CNC ring rolling mills must be equipped with special irregular mandrels and undergo targeted structural design during the forming and rolling process to meet the forming and rolling requirements of irregular ring forgings.

This process first completes conventional hole expansion and basic rolling according to the product structure requirements. Then, through station switching or the configuration of special irregular-shaped mandrels, the irregular inner and outer diameter contours are precisely shaped. The entire rolling process is continuous and stable, and can achieve one-fire forming without the need for multiple heating or machine stoppages for adjustment, which significantly improves production efficiency while effectively ensuring product dimensional consistency and forming quality.

For the challenging processing of large, ultra-thin-walled ring forgings, our ring rolling equipment offers a mature and stable solution. Through precise coordinated control of the main roll, mandrel, and axial roll, combined with a high-rigidity frame structure and advanced CNC system, the equipment effectively suppresses problems such as ring instability, wave deformation, and uneven wall thickness during the rolling process, achieving thin-walled forming of large ring forgings.

In actual production, even when dealing with ring forgings with large diameters, thin walls, and significantly different cross-sectional proportions, our equipment can still maintain good forming stability and dimensional accuracy, ensuring a continuous and controllable rolling process. Hole expansion, rolling, and dimensional shaping can be completed with a single heating cycle, significantly improving material utilization and production efficiency while also substantially reducing production costs.
